Taiwan Food Expo 2026 Kicks Off July 31 at Taipei World Trade Center
The Taiwan Food Expo 2026 will take place from July 31 to August 3 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. This year's theme, 'Terroir Brewing,' brings together premium local ingredients, award-winning dishes, champion souvenirs, and 14 Michelin-recognised restaurants from across Taiwan. Five-star hotel groups are also offering exclusive expo-only deals.

Following the latest Taiwan Michelin Guide announcement, the expo now features 14 Michelin-selected and Bib Gourmand establishments, including newly listed Michelin-selected restaurant 'Zi Zai Tian,' Bib Gourmand honouree 'Yun Chuan Shui Yue,' the milkfish specialist 'Chang Ying Seafood House,' 'Niu Dian Beef Noodles,' small-plate Taiwanese cuisine spot 'Xin Yuan Xiao Kitchen,' and champion Baozhong organic tea garden 'Natural Tea House.'
Popular vendors include Pali Pali Taiwan Ice Cream made with fresh fruit, Tainan Yuhang Beef Soup delivered daily via high-speed rail, Wu Deng Jiang Braised Pork Rice (visited by both Jensen Huang and Korean food expert Baek Jong-won), Lu Luo fermented tofu crafted like fine cheese, and Yu Qiao Cacao Chocolate Workshop with their plum-vegetable chocolate.

The Japan Food Pavilion will serve sea urchin rice bowls and abalone air-flown from Japan, while Kagawa Prefecture offers 50 free ice cream samples daily featuring unique flavours like fried udon, sardine chilli oil, scallion soy sauce, and olive oil ice cream.
Exclusive hotel deals: The Grand Hotel debuts its 'Golden Dragon Room Voucher' at NT$7,777 (47% off) and a Peking duck four-person sharing voucher at NT$5,980 (61% off). Regent Taipei offers a grilled thick-cut Japanese A5 Wagyu 12oz duo meal at NT$1,999, while Beitou Quanyuan Pavilion presents a ten-person traditional banquet at NT$16,800. The NPM Regent's four-person weekday dinner set is priced at NT$4,299.
