【Exhibition Overview】

    China Foshan International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology and Products Exhibition, abbreviated as CHFE, is an important component of the United Nations Development Programme Hydrogen Energy Industry Conference. As a core activity held alongside the conference, the exhibition focuses on multiple areas across the entire hydrogen energy industry chain, covering hydrogen energy infrastructure, fuel cells, core components, supporting materials, fuel cell vehicle manufacturing, industrial cooperation, as well as hydrogen production, storage, transportation, hydrogen application and other full-chain content. It is dedicated to presenting hydrogen industry professionals with an annual industry event of substance, creativity and high quality.

    The exhibition was founded in 2017 and, as of 2025, has been successfully held for nine consecutive sessions. It has always been held concurrently with the China Hydrogen Energy Industry Conference, organised by the China Centre for International Economic Exchanges. Having been deeply rooted in Nanhai, Foshan — known as the "Capital of China's Hydrogen Energy Industry" — for many years, it has developed into the most authoritative and influential industry event in the hydrogen energy sector. This edition of the exhibition will be held at Foshan Nanhai Qiaoshan Culture Centre, located approximately 240 metres southeast of Tingyin Square on Qiaoyuan Road, Nanhai District, Foshan.

    In recent years, the national government and local governments at all levels have successively introduced industrial planning policies to support the development of the hydrogen energy industry. In particular, after five ministries including the Ministry of Finance issued a relevant notice to promote the demonstration application of fuel cell vehicles, the demonstration city clusters are about to be officially announced. In light of current policy trends, the development path of this round of the hydrogen fuel cell industry will be led by city cluster fuel cell vehicle demonstration projects, with the simultaneous promotion of coordinated development across all links of the industry chain as the main line, forming a development trend towards large-scale, industrialised and localised production. In the next five years, China will become the most dynamic and expansive hydrogen fuel cell market in the world.

Dedicated international business exchange and matchmaking sessions were also arranged, organising procurement delegations of over 100 international buyers for one-on-one meetings, offering precise cooperation opportunities for companies seeking to expand overseas. Companies such as Feichi Technology, Sinohytec, and Refire Energy all showcased their global competitiveness at the exhibition — Refire Energy's overseas revenue in the first half of 2025 surged by 360.3% year-on-year.

    The exhibition keeps pace with the trend of diversifying hydrogen energy application scenarios and has established an innovation hub for deep integration of industry, academia, research and application. The 2025 edition unveiled three major special thematic sections: the Hydrogen Health and Hydrogen Technology section showcased lifestyle applications such as hydrogen water generators and hydrogen-assisted medical products; the Natural Gas Hydrogen Blending Technology and Equipment section focused on the new track of energy integration; and the Hydrogen-Powered Cruise Ship section extended hydrogen power applications to the waterborne domain. The exhibition also hosted multiple high-end events alongside the show, bringing together top industry experts and leaders to share cutting-edge technological achievements in core areas such as fuel cells and hydrogen production technology.

    Leveraging the industrial cluster advantages of Nanhai, Foshan, the "Capital of China's Hydrogen Energy Industry", the exhibition significantly enhances the order conversion efficiency of participating companies. During the 2025 exhibition, the "Launch Ceremony for 100 Hydrogen-Powered Official Vehicles, 1,000 Hydrogen-Powered Commercial Vehicles and 10,000 Hydrogen-Powered Two-Wheelers in Nanhai" was officially initiated, with numerous local enterprises deeply involved in this large-scale demonstration project.
