IFAT India, also known as the India Mumbai Environmental Exhibition - India Water Expo, is a professional environmental exhibition with outstanding influence in the South Asia region. With India's steady economic growth and continuous improvement of its investment environment, the demand and business potential of the local environmental market are both on the rise.
【Exhibition Scale of This Edition】
The total exhibition area of this edition has increased by 50% compared to previous editions, attracting 410 exhibitors from 25 countries and 6 international pavilions to participate in the exhibition.
A dedicated hall showcasing solid waste management solutions has also been newly added, further enriching the overall exhibition content.
【Featured Activities and Professional Forums】
This edition has introduced a number of new arrangements while retaining the well-received classic activities, including:
- A new "Pitch Corner" interactive space, allowing exhibitors to present their innovative products to interested visitors
- The classic business matching sessions and live demonstration areas have been retained to facilitate connections between supply and demand, and to secure procurement orders
- The "Innovation Water Forum" and "Innovation Recycling Forum" have been launched, featuring over 50 renowned speakers from academia, industry, government, and think tanks, discussing circular economy topics such as wastewater treatment, waste oil treatment, solar panel recycling, and construction waste recycling
- The "IFAT India Open Forum", organised by the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste (DWA), provides practical guidance to young professionals in the fields of sewage treatment and water technology
- The German Consulate has organised a roundtable meeting for the first time, inviting senior municipal and corporate executives from India to discuss projects related to sustainable urban development
