Details
About【Exhibition Overview】
The Frankfurt Book Fair (FRANKFURTER Buchmesse) is currently the world's largest and most influential book trade centre, and a top-tier event in the global book industry, renowned as the "global cultural barometer" and the "Olympics of the world's publishers."
This international book fair has been organised by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association since 1949, with the founding principle of "allowing all publishers worldwide to exhibit any book." Over the years, it has maintained immense influence in the global book publishing and cultural sector, serving as a core platform for publishing houses from various countries to showcase achievements and engage in exchange.
The 77th edition held in 2025 attracted 4,350 exhibitors from 131 countries and regions, drawing a total of 238,000 visitors, making it an unmissable annual industry event for professionals in the global publishing field.
【Core Value of the Fair】
The core value of the Frankfurt Book Fair lies in its irreplaceable position as a copyright trading hub and its strong capability to aggregate global publishing resources. It is currently the world's most important international copyright trading market. Statistics show that copyright transactions concluded at the fair each year account for more than 75% of the total annual global copyright trading volume.
