The owner of Studio City Macau, where the W Hotel resides, Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, has always possessed an impressive architectural pedigree. The Studio City Hotel, situated right next to the W Hotel, already astounds visitors with its镂空 Figure‑8 Ferris wheel embedded within the high‑rise towers.

Located on the 2U floor is Jan Jan. This name instantly evokes the Chinese idiom "jan jan yau mei" (savoury and delicious), reflecting W's signature sense of humour. The English name of the Jan Jan restaurant is Hawker Hawker, representing the hawkers' cries at the market, also highlighting that the restaurant draws inspiration from Macau's early street markets.

The neon light boxes featuring various English letters at the restaurant entrance are extremely eye‑catching, exuding a cool cyberpunk vibe. The interior design of the restaurant is rich and colourful – aside from the wooden flooring, there are retro yet futuristic neon ceiling lights bearing words or patterns, as well as mosaic artworks depicting Macau's nostalgic street scenes and the architectural facade of Studio City. The buffet counter, stretching almost across the entire dining area, offers a dazzling array of food choices. The dinner buffet covers not only Chinese and Western cuisines but also a diverse selection of Asian dishes.
