The Richly Blessed Golden Mansion is a truly magnificent private estate built by a Thai‑Chinese billionaire at a cost of 14 billion Thai Baht. Situated by the sea, the mansion exudes extraordinary elegance, with exquisite carvings found everywhere and a stunning array of art pieces embedded with colourful gems.

The Thai people take pride in this, as the tycoon's estate is open for public viewing. It also served as a filming location for the TV series "Meteor Garden". In the afternoon, the blue skies and white clouds of Pattaya add to the estate's beauty. A large portrait of the Thai Queen hangs by the garden outside the main gate. Entering the courtyard, a Sino‑Western style flowerbed comes into view, surrounded by angel statues. Queueing up to the third‑floor hall, one can see the tulip murals on the ceiling and the orchids along the corridors, especially the breathtaking view of the sea from the corridor, which is a feast for the eyes. The magnificent interior of the mansion leaves visitors in awe of its opulence. Taking an electric cart through the garden, you arrive at the right side of a hall. In the front hall, a large portrait of the Thai King hangs on the wall, while another wall is covered with a photo of the Thai King with royal members from around the world during their visit to Thailand. The hall on the left is a self‑service lounge with fruits on display.

Entering the inner courtyard, you find a large conference hall‑like building. The estate's most famous feature, the Golden Buddha Hall facing the sea and made of pure gold, comes into view. The tall statue of Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is adorned in golden robes, and the pure gold lotus seat before her, with diamond‑studded lotus seeds and a plate of sapphire representing the water, is truly breathtaking. Many tourists take photos here.

Stepping out of the hall, the garden outside is in full bloom with flowers. Two golden lion statues stand in the garden outside the gate, and a fountain embellishes the beautifully landscaped seaside garden. Looking back from the garden, the round roof and the Chinese‑style interior blend harmoniously. This opulent and luxurious estate makes one ponder the different values between the rich and ordinary people.
