Chiang Mai Night Safari, located in the famous Doi Suthep National Park in Chiang Mai, is the largest night safari in Thailand. If you want to get to know wildlife in a relaxed way, this is your best choice.

Visiting the carnivore zone at night is definitely a rare and interesting experience. Why was the night zoo specially created? In fact, many animals from Africa, due to the hot climate, are mostly nocturnal. If you visit the zoo during the day, you can only see sleeping or lazy animals. They become active only after nightfall, so night time is the best time to observe them.

Take an eco‑friendly electric tram and slowly drive through the designated animal zones in the park. With sensor‑activated lights, visitors can observe lions, tigers, hyenas and others at a closer distance. Meanwhile, gentle zebras, antelopes and giraffes may appear right next to the tram, within arm's reach. When taking photos of animals, the staff especially remind visitors to turn off the flash to avoid disturbing the animals or damaging their eyes with strong light.
