Located in central Bangkok, "Flow House" has branches in the UK and the US, among other places. Bangkok is the fourth newly established branch in Asia, and its convenient location accessible by Skytrain attracts many visitors, with Thai celebrities also frequenting the venue. The semi‑open‑air surfing space is not large; it is already at full capacity when about three to four people are surfing at the same time. Although it is not as vast as surfing in the open sea, it offers a different kind of fresh experience while allowing people to grasp the basics of surfing in a safe environment. Flow House Bangkok's artificial surfing pool has instructors on hand at all times to provide guidance. Upon entering the surfing pool, one may be knocked off balance by the strong water currents. At this point, the instructor will ask you to stabilise your body first, lie flat on the surfboard, and once balanced, try to steady yourself in a kneeling position before finally standing up and progressing to various tricks. Although it may look difficult at first, once you become familiar with the movements, you can quickly pick up the techniques, making it quite fun.

In Bangkok, where temperatures remain high all year round, the design of Flow House Bangkok's artificial surfing pool undoubtedly offers city dwellers a special sense of coolness. Although it is physically demanding, you can safely enjoy the thrill and the sense of exercise. You can keep practising in front of the waves and relish the exhilarating feeling of continuous lifts. If you are a traveller planning to visit Bangkok and want to try it out, why not give it a go?

Fun Facts for Surfing Beginners
Surfing is an ancient culture of the Polynesian people. Their chiefs were the best wave riders in the tribe and owned the best surfboards made from the finest trees. The ruling class also had the best beaches and boards; ordinary people were not allowed on their beaches, but commoners could earn these privileges through excellent surfing skills. The earliest European sighting of surfing was recorded in 1767 by the crew of the Dolphin in Tahiti. Later, Lieutenant James King also documented the art of surfing in Captain Cook's journal upon Cook's death in 1779.
Surfing was a way of life for Polynesians, much like sports are in today's Western world. It influenced Polynesian society, religion, and mythology. Polynesian chiefs demonstrated their authority through their stunts on the waves.
