White Water Rafting 10km Introduction

This is 8Adventures' signature rafting trip, featuring the best Class III and IV rapids on the Mae Taeng River. Departing from the riverside camp, a short drive takes you to the village of "Sop Kai" before the adventure begins. Along the way, you will pass through dense jungle and enjoy stunning scenery. First, there is a 3km stretch of Class III rapids with several fun rapids upstream to warm up. Then you reach the main Class IV section, where the guides check in with each other and signal; all rafts drop into the first Class IV rapid, then follow the guides' instructions through many Class IV rapids. At the bottom, everyone raises their paddles high to celebrate completing the most thrilling rapids in Northern Thailand, before finally returning to 8Adventures' camp. If you encounter elephants during the rafting trip, please do not panic.

White Water Rafting 8km

The 8km white water rafting trip is suitable for those who want to experience white water rafting, families with young children, or anyone who just wants a quick jungle splash to cool off. This stretch on the Mae Taeng River is Class 2‑3. After a simple start, you will have some time to relax, learn techniques from the guide, then enter a great Class 3 section, followed by short continuous rapids, all the way back to camp. With top‑notch equipment and experienced river guides, you are ensured a safe and enjoyable adventure. 

ATV Off‑Road 3 Hours

This is a 3‑hour ATV adventure tailored for beginners and intermediate riders. Before departure, an instructor will provide detailed guidance and training to familiarise you with the vehicle. The journey will traverse roads and off‑road jungle terrain, making it an excellent choice for exploring the local countryside and enjoying the scenery in a different way. Different tracks are selected on the day based on weather conditions, road conditions, and rider ability to ensure everyone can safely enjoy the trip.

Hiking to Waterfall 3 Hours

This 3‑hour Chiang Mai waterfall hiking adventure is a great way to see the jungle and cool off in the water. Hike about 1.6km through the jungle to reach a 10‑metre waterfall. Stop to rest at the waterfall, where visitors can play in the water and relax with a swim. Therefore, before starting the hike, it is recommended to change into swimwear at the camp. Along the way, the guide will introduce the flora and fauna on the trail. The return route is the same as the outbound route.
