The exclusive autumn seaside fireworks extravaganza in Kanto makes a grand return, with the 2026 Oarai Seaside Fireworks Festival kicking off in style on 26 September 2026. This year's fireworks display has been upgraded once again, adding 2,000 more fireworks compared to last year, with approximately 20,000 fireworks blooming in succession, creating an unprecedented visual feast over the sea. Depart directly from Tokyo's Shinjuku and Ueno on a sightseeing coach, saving you the hassle of traffic jams, parking and planning your own itinerary — enjoy a one‑stop romantic seaside autumn experience.

This fireworks show is fully produced by Nomura Fireworks Industries, a renowned veteran manufacturer that has won the Prime Minister's Award. Drawing on decades of exquisite craftsmanship, every single firework is meticulously crafted with layered light and shadow effects. The show's most spectacular highlight — the stunning 2‑shaku shell fireworks — is not to be missed. Each shell blooms to a diameter of 480 metres and soars to a height of 500 metres, with gigantic blooms filling the entire night sky above the sea, creating an awe‑inspiring spectacle. The performance is held at one of the longest stretches of coastline in the Kanto region, and the unique sea‑launch format means there is no obstruction overhead, offering an unobstructed panoramic view. The sea breeze in the distance, paired with the countless sparks across the sky, creates an expansive beauty that land‑based fireworks simply cannot match.

The tour exclusively reserves dedicated seated viewing areas — no need to sit on the ground or jostle through the crowds. Sit back comfortably and enjoy the full fireworks show up close. As each firework soars into the sky above the sea, silver‑white, golden‑red and colourful blue lights reflect off the water, with waves and flames complementing each other for an immersive three‑dimensional viewing experience that reaches its peak.

Dozens of popular food trucks will also gather around the viewing area. Based on previous years, up to 45 stalls are expected. Japanese fried noodles, skewers, cotton candy and seafood snacks — everything you could want. Before the fireworks begin, take a stroll among the stalls and sample authentic street food, with the sea breeze and good food adding to the enjoyment of the whole trip.

A dedicated sightseeing coach travels round‑trip between Tokyo's Shinjuku and Ueno city areas, making transport arrangements hassle‑free — no need to spend time checking transfer schedules or fighting for tickets. With the gentle autumn sea breeze, 20,000 spectacular fireworks over the sea, the gigantic 2‑shaku shells masterfully crafted by a renowned manufacturer, and the comfort of dedicated seated areas, create an unforgettable memory of a unique Kanto autumn seaside fireworks experience.
