Distillery Tour Introduction
The Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow is the first new whisky distillery to be built in Glasgow in nearly a century. Located on the banks of the River Clyde, it offers stunning views from its glass still house.
The distillery was built in 1877 and once served as the gateway to Glasgow's famous Queen's Dock, from which Scotch whisky was shipped around the world.

This dock was once one of the largest in Britain, making Glasgow a major shipping city.
Clydeside whisky is crafted in the city centre using Scottish barley and water from Loch Katrine.
Led by knowledgeable guides, you will learn about the distillation process and may even get to sample some whisky along the way. It is an excellent way to understand how Clydeside whisky is produced and how casks influence its flavour.

Visit the distillery and enjoy an immersive experience of whisky knowledge under the guidance of professional tour guides

Witness the whisky‑pouring process first‑hand and gain a deeper understanding of the art of whisky‑making

Join a whisky tasting tour and get to know a wide range of whiskies

Savour the rich flavour and exquisite craftsmanship of Clydeside whisky, carefully distilled in the heart of Glasgow

Take a break at The Clydeside Cafe and enjoy some food or refreshing drinks.
