Join a coconut oil‑making class to add fun to your island getaway, and experience it with a Balinese family living in the beautiful and tranquil Taro Village, one of the island's popular rural tourism destinations.

During this guided tour, you will be taken to the home of a Balinese local family, where you will be welcomed with fresh herbal tea before the class begins, allowing you to witness and immerse yourself in the locals' way of life. Over the next 2 hours, you will learn about the various local tools used to extract coconut oil from coconut shells. Afterwards, you will tour the village to appreciate its rich landscape and abundant resources, and learn more about the raw materials for the local souvenirs that they transform into high‑quality Balinese silver and gold jewellery.
