Attraction Info:

If you're looking for a unique adventure, the Sacromonte Cave Museum in Granada is a must‑visit.

This ethnographic museum, set in authentic semi‑cave dwellings, vividly tells the fascinating story of the Roma (Gypsy) people.

These 18th‑century settlers made their homes in the caves of Cerro de San Miguel, where you can explore ten reconstructed dwellings showcasing their vibrant culture, hand tools, and traditional crafts such as blacksmithing, textiles and ceramics. The nature exhibition highlights the local agriculture and climate that supported their self‑sufficient lifestyle.

Outside, a scenic trail leads to a full‑scale model of the Darro Valley, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the iconic Alhambra. It's a cultural journey into Granada's history that's well worth it for the views alone.
