Visit the Colonia Güell Crypt. Explore at your own pace with the audio guide to learn how Gaudí used this site as a testing ground for the Sagrada Família, while discovering the architectural and social innovations of this industrial colony.

The Gaudí Crypt, located within the Colonia Güell estate, is one of the architect's most remarkable yet lesser‑known treasures.
Commissioned by Gaudí's patron Eusebi Güell without budget constraints, it served as a testing ground for the construction of the Sagrada Família.

This masterpiece showcases Gaudí's architectural genius, where he refined his techniques and explored groundbreaking designs.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, it also became the first monument of its kind to receive Biosphere Certification (for sustainable management).

The Colonia Güell itself was an innovative industrial colony that combined technological advancement with progressive social reforms.
An audio guide available in 10 languages will enrich your visit, offering in‑depth insights into 19th‑century architecture, society, and culture.
