Mexico City is renowned for its vibrant cultural atmosphere, making it an excellent destination for exploring the city centre and savouring authentic local cuisine.
Our itinerary will start at the Zócalo, home to landmarks such as the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace. We will stroll along the iconic 5 de Mayo Street to the Casa de los Azulejos, and finally conclude at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Towards the end of the tour, we will head to Taquería to enjoy genuine Mexican tacos.
Afterwards, we will explore traditional markets in Mexico, beginning with the Mercado de San Juan, famous for its exotic meats, fruits, and insect delicacies, best accompanied by tequila or mezcal. After a delightful time at the food stalls, we will proceed to the Mercado de Ciudadela, renowned for its handicrafts. Here, you will learn about the market's history and browse through over 350 stalls to find cherished souvenirs.
