Ningbo Seventeen House Kaiyuan Guantang, located within the Zheng Family Seventeen House Scenic Area, is developed in two phases. Phase I is renovated on the basis of the architectural foundations of the Ming and Qing dynasties' old residences, introducing a new order while preserving the building's original exquisite details and historical charm. Phase II consists of antique‑style buildings that recreate the look and feel of the Ming and Qing dynasties, blending seamlessly with Phase I—one modern and one ancient, one near and one far—like a hidden "paradise away from the world."

The hotel not only preserves the original appearance of the ancient buildings, but also uses the living environment of a grand mansion as a guide.
