Montserrat Monastery Ticket

(1)Children aged 0‑3 are free of charge;

(2)Children aged 14 and above are charged the same as adults;

(1)Your visit time to Montserrat will be the hour you select; you may complete the rest of your visit before or after this time;

(2)Please dress appropriately;

(3)There are no lockers on site, nor space for luggage larger than 40 x 30 cm;

(4)Please note that this is not a fixed‑duration activity; you may arrange your visit time according to your own preferences;

(5)Photography is not allowed in front of the Holy Throne, as it slows down the queue and disturbs others;

(6)During liturgical services, please refrain from entering the cathedral unless you intend to participate; please wait until the service ends before entering;

(7)To facilitate the participation of the faithful and to maintain a quiet prayerful atmosphere, the Chapel of the Virgin is closed during services;

(8)The crypt, the Holy Chapel, and the Holy Tabernacle are sacred places of worship; please only enter if you intend to spend some time in prayer and meditation;

(9)When visiting Montserrat, first go to the information centre, where you will find an open‑air museum; with the help of audio guides, maps, and information brochures, you can explore the rich history of the monastery on your own and discover the main attractions of the Montserrat Sanctuary;
