(3) Passengers boarding at Kawayu, Watase, or Yunomine should show the booking confirmation to the service staff at the Shiko counter;
(4) After the departure time, the bus may still depart even if passengers have not boarded. We appreciate your understanding;
(5) Visiting times, departure and arrival times, and places visited may be adjusted based on traffic conditions;

Attraction Details
Kumano Hongu Taisha
Located in the Hongu area, Oyunohara is the former site of Kumano Hongu Taisha, featuring Japan's largest torii gate (33.9 metres high). In spring, cherry blossoms bloom spectacularly in clusters.

Hayatama Taisha
The deity enshrined at Kumano Hayatama Taisha in Shingu City was originally worshipped at Kamikura‑yama, where the Kumano gods first descended, before being relocated here. The shrine grounds house Japan's largest nagai tree, standing at over 20 metres tall.

Kumano Kodo Daimon‑zaka
An atmospheric stone‑paved path. The ambiance makes it feel as if you can hear the breath of ancient pilgrims.


Nachi Waterfall
Nachi Waterfall has a drop of 133 metres, ranking first in Japan for both height and water volume.



Nachi Taisha Seiganto‑ji
It is said that a monk named Ragiō, who crossed from India to Kumano, discovered a Kannon statue in the basin of Nachi Waterfall and enshrined it there, which is generally considered the origin of Seiganto‑ji.
