Tour Highlights

Enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Venice's landmarks, including St. Mark's Basilica and the Grand Canal

With a fast‑track ticket, skip the queue and take a modern lift to the top of the tower

Explore the rich history of the tower, closely linked to Galileo's pioneering telescope demonstrations in Venice

Standing above the 'most beautiful drawing room in Europe', St. Mark's Square, the 98.6‑metre St. Mark's Campanile is a timeless guardian of Venice's millennium and the most striking skyline coordinate on the Adriatic coast. Rising from a 9th‑century foundation, evolving from a Roman‑era watchtower to a globally renowned landmark, every brick is etched with the rise and fall, and the glory of the Floating City; every chime echoes the gentleness and majesty of time.

A minimalist yet grand architectural aesthetic is the unique charm of St. Mark's Campanile. Its lower half is a massive brick‑red columnar structure, a square outline of 12 metres per side, embodying the weight of ancient Roman architecture. The upper belfry once housed five bronze bells, each with a distinct function; their chimes once echoed through the city, marking the rhythm of Venetian life. Atop the pyramidal spire, a gilded weather vane of the Archangel Gabriel gleams brilliantly, shimmering with the light on the water, becoming the most iconic symbol of the Floating City. Having survived fires, earthquakes and collapse, the tower was rebuilt in 1912, faithfully preserving its original appearance, narrating a legend of 'rising from the ashes'.

Reaching the top of the campanile unlocks a panoramic feast of Venice. Take the lift straight to the summit for a 360‑degree, unobstructed bird's‑eye view of this city on the lagoon — winding canals like silver ribbons wrapping around red roofs and white walls, the distant snow‑capped peaks of the Alps faintly visible, the blue of the Adriatic Sea merging with the skyline, and the domes of St. Mark's Basilica and the silhouette of the Doge's Palace in full view. Watch the morning mist drift over the city, admire the afternoon sunlight flooding the square, and see the sunset tinge the river red — every moment is breathtakingly beautiful.

This is not just a viewing spot; it is the spiritual totem of Venice. Its image has been imitated by countries around the world, yet its unique heritage can never be replicated. Standing here, touching the warmth of the thousand‑year‑old bricks, listening to the chimes travelling through time, you can almost hear the echoes of the Venetian Republic and feel the romance and resilience of the Floating City.

When visiting Venice, climb St. Mark's Campanile. Let over 900 years of history embrace you, let the beauty of the entire city be captured for you, and store the romance and awe of Venice in every unforgettable travel memory.
