Swiss Travel Pass (Swiss Travel Pass)


The voucher is valid only for the designated date (and time).
The Swiss Travel Pass is valid for 3/4/6/8/15 days (depending on the selected pass type). Please activate the pass yourself and select your travel dates. Each travel day starts from the activation start date and ends at 05:00 (Swiss time) the following day.
Multi‑day passes do not need to be used consecutively and are valid for use within 1 month from the first day of validity.
Present the e‑Pass
Upon order confirmation, the e‑voucher will be sent to your email immediately.
Please print the e‑ticket on A4 paper for contingency purposes.
Swiss Travel Pass holders (non‑residents) cannot add the pass to the SBB App; simply present the printed paper / e‑ticket for inspection on trains. Only Swiss residents holding the Swiss Pass can add the pass to the SBB App.
Please note that e‑tickets cannot be added to Apple Wallet.
Flexible Date Pass: The selected date is the start date of the 1‑month validity period. You need to manually activate the pass and select your travel dates to receive train tickets.
The purchase receipt will be sent via email as a PDF attachment. Please note that the purchase receipt is not a valid travel document.
Please go to , fill in the order number (indicated on the receipt), passenger name, date of birth, and select the travel dates.
Deactivating Travel Dates: To deactivate a selected travel date, please apply for deactivation at least before 23:59 on the day prior. Late applications will not be processed.
Free Travel Routes: No additional ticket purchase is required. Please present the pass along with your passport / residence permit for inspection by train attendants.
Discounted Travel Routes: An additional ticket must be purchased online / at the ticket counter. Please present the pass when purchasing the ticket to enjoy the discount.

Seat reservations are not required for local and regional trains. Reservations are required for most high‑speed, international, panoramic (Bernina Express, Chocolate Train, Glacier Express, Gotthard Panorama Express), and night trains, and are subject to an additional fee.

Free cancellation before the designated activity date
Partial refund policy: For cancellations made after the activity date, a 15% penalty fee and a CHF 10 charge will apply. This is only applicable for unused, non-activated tickets due to force majeure. Please provide proof of non-travel (evidence of inability to use the Swiss Travel Pass). Refund requests are subject to the supplier’s decision, may require a waiting period, and are not guaranteed.
