Once all travellers have gathered, we will head north along Route 1, then turn west towards the Snæfellsnes Peninsula — the adventure begins!
Snæfellsnes is a volcanic region, and Snæfellsjökull glacier sits atop a volcano.

We will first stop at Berserkjahraun lava field, a lava field formed by a volcanic eruption about 4,000 years ago.
Here you will find moss‑covered rocks, as well as the volcanic craters Rauðkúla and Grákúla. We will view this lava field from the Vatnaleid viewpoint. Kirkjufell mountain is one of Iceland's most famous photography locations.
It is only 463 metres high, but its unique arrowhead shape makes it especially majestic. Kirkjufell mountain and the nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall often appear in photos, with the mountain's reflection on the lake surface in the background. This is one of the filming locations beyond the Wall in Game of Thrones.

Snæfellsjökull National Park is a protected area, with the glacier and volcano forming its core.
Legend has it that this is the entrance to the centre of the earth in Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Another stop in the national park is Djúpalónssandur black sand beach.

The black sand here originates from an ancient volcanic eruption; seawater eroded the lava, forming the black sand seen today. You can also see some interesting lava rocks here.
Next, we will head to the southern part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula to visit Lóndrangar rock pillars. Continue on to the village of Arnarstapi, a small fishing village surrounded by beautiful mountains and coastline.

A large number of birds inhabit the cliffs, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts.
The black church of Búðir is Iceland's most famous black church, built in 1848 and restored several times.

The church's black exterior contrasts sharply with the surrounding desolate landscape, making it a popular spot for taking photos.
Finally, we will head to Ytri Tunga beach. This golden sand beach is one of the best places in Iceland to observe seals, where you have a chance to see seals resting on the shore.

After the tour, we will begin our return journey to Reykjavík, dropping you back at the meeting point.
