Located at 306 Congress Street, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, beside the Congress Street Bridge and on the original waters of Griffin’s Wharf — this is the very site of the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773, and a landmark of the American Revolutionary spirit.

At the heart of the museum is an immersive historical experience. Two replica ships from the 18th century — the Beaver and the Eleanor — are docked quietly in the harbour, allowing visitors to board and explore the living conditions of sailors of that era. Costumed actors will lead guests in re‑enacting the Sons of Liberty, disguised as Mohawks, hurling 342 chests of British East India Company tea into the sea — and visitors can even take part in tossing the tea chests themselves.

The museum houses the one‑of‑a‑kind Robinson Tea Chest — the only surviving original tea chest from the Tea Party. Complemented by award‑winning multimedia presentations and high‑tech interactive exhibits, it fully illustrates the causes, course, and far‑reaching impact of the event on American independence.

Located near Boston’s Freedom Trail, visitors can easily continue to historic sites such as Faneuil Hall and the Old South Meeting House, where the revolutionary fervour of a century ago blends perfectly with the vibrant energy of today’s city.
