Ice caves are dynamic, ever‑changing natural phenomena that are only accessible in winter when temperatures drop below freezing. Each year, new unique ice caves form in different areas of the glacier. On this tour, the operator will take you to a naturally formed ice cave. Photos on the operator's website and social media are from this winter, but due to the dynamic nature of these formations, the ice cave visited by the operator may have changed in appearance
Physical demand: Beginner level
Warm thermal base layer; waterproof outdoor clothing (second layer)
Hiking boots (with stiff soles and high ankle support), gloves, and hat

Outbound: Meeting point. Optional departure times: 09:30, 13:00, 16:00 (please ensure you attend the activity at the selected time booked), meeting point at the car park of Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. The guide will be waiting next to the public toilets behind the Fish & Chips truck. No refunds for late arrivals or no‑shows. Please arrive 20 minutes before the departure time.

Return: Arrival back. Optional return times: 12:30, 16:00, 19:00 (depending on the selected departure time and itinerary duration).
