Product Details

In the historical fabric of Istanbul, there is an art that flows with light and shadow, carrying the thousand‑year charm of the Ottoman Empire — stained glass. A stained glass experience located between Galataport and the Galata Tower invites you into a serene and spacious art studio, where you can personally touch the beauty of this ancient craft and feel the historical essence of Istanbul through creation.

This is a paradise of light, shadow, and colour, and a place where Ottoman culture is preserved. Since the Middle Ages, stained glass has adorned the windows of cathedrals, and this ancient craft has been carried forward within the heritage of the Ottoman Empire, becoming the essence of the art of plaster and glass decoration in mosques. Here, you will personally experience the magical dance of light, watching the sunlight shift and spread different colours and shadows across the glass. Every change of light unlocks a different visual surprise.

The studio is open daily from 08:00 to 23:00, offering flexible and convenient hours. Whether you come in the morning or immerse yourself in creativity in the evening, you can find your own peaceful moment. Here, there is no rush. You can slowly explore and freely create in a spacious and quiet space, experiencing the healing and relaxation that art brings — no need to chase time, just unleash your creativity.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an enthusiast of handmade crafts, you can easily participate. We provide step‑by‑step guidance in Turkish, English, and Russian, with detailed explanations on smooth colour blending and fine detail finishing techniques, so you can quickly master the essence of stained glass creation. From abstract patterns to the captivating landscapes of Istanbul, from lively floral designs to classic geometric shapes, you are free to define your unique style and handcraft your own exclusive stained glass artwork.

During the experience, we also prepare fresh Turkish tea and snacks for you. Between your creative moments, take a sip of rich black tea and taste some special pastries, feeling the warmth and relaxation of Turkish hospitality, making your creative time even more ceremonial. The finished hand‑painted stained glass will be carefully packaged, becoming the most precious souvenir of your Istanbul journey, carrying the unique artistic memories of this experience.

The studio can accommodate groups of up to 250 people, making it perfect for family outings, gatherings with friends, or team‑building activities. Through collaborative creation, you can feel the charm of art, strengthen bonds with one another, and create unforgettable collective memories.

Say goodbye to rushed sightseeing and step into Istanbul's stained glass studio. Amid the flow of light and shadow, explore the artistic heritage of the Ottoman Empire, handcraft your own unique artwork, savour Turkish tea and snacks, and unlock another side of Istanbul's beauty in tranquillity and creativity. Let this artistic experience, rich with history and imagination, become the most touching chapter of your Turkish journey.
