If you purchase a Swiss Half Fare Card, please bring a valid ID
Please bring a windproof jacket for use on the outer deck
Wheelchair users on all BLS line vessels can access the main deck (2nd class)
All scheduled liners are equipped with wheelchair‑accessible toilets
On board MS Stadt Thun and MS Berner Oberland, lifts (except for electric wheelchairs) are available to the upper deck (1st class)
If you travel with a pet dog, small dogs under 30 cm can be carried free of charge provided they stay in a transport container for the entire journey
Dogs not in a container and all dogs with a shoulder height exceeding 30 cm require a valid dog ticket, priced at half the 2nd class fare, but not exceeding CHF 8.00 (dog day ticket)

Reminders Before Your Trip
On Lake Brienz, you can choose to hike between stops and then rejoin at the next stop. Hiking times may vary:
Interlaken East Station to Ringgenberg takes about 1 hour
Ringgenberg to Niederried and Niederried to Oberried each take about 1.5 hours
Brienz to Oberried takes about 2.5 hours
Get off at the Giessbach See station to directly reach the nearby Giessbach Falls, which cascade down 14 tiers
