The tour's first stop is Inuyama Castle, home to one of the oldest surviving donjons in Japan and designated as a National Treasure. Situated on the banks of the Kiso River, you can enjoy panoramic views of the river and distant mountains from the top floor. The aged wooden staircases and samurai‑related exhibits showcase over a thousand years of historical depth. Next, we head to Ena Gorge, a landscape formed by damming the Kiso River, featuring towering craggy rocks and strange stone formations. The Ena Gorge Bridge spans across the canyon; from the viewpoint, you can take in the harmonious blend of mountains and water, with scenery that changes with each season, exuding nature's elegance.

In the afternoon, stroll through Magome‑juku and Tsumago‑juku, both former post towns along the Nakasendo road, perfectly preserving the atmosphere of the Edo period. Magome‑juku's stone‑paved slopes and retro buildings complement each other beautifully; despite reconstruction, it retains the charm of an ancient post town. Tsumago‑juku, on the other hand, exudes even greater tranquility – vehicles are banned from the main street, and hidden utility wires preserve the complete look of the old street, as if time has stood still.

Within a single day, from a National Treasure castle to a natural gorge, from Edo‑era post towns to cultural streets, nature and history interweave. You can feel the weight of history while also encountering nature's healing power, unlocking an unforgettable journey of Japanese vintage charm and natural beauty.
