Ler Hock Chuan is a renowned contemporary artist from Singapore with over 35 years of creative experience, working primarily with acrylic and watercolour media. Known for his bold, modern style, Ler draws inspiration from architecture and human interactions, creating vibrant works that capture a strong sense of movement and energy. His watercolour paintings present the landscapes of Singapore in a lively and fresh manner. Last year, he held his fourth solo exhibition titled "Romance" and won first prize in the Western Painting category of the Singapore Art Society's Dr. Tan Tsze Chor Art Award. Through this watercolour workshop, participants will learn Ler's unique watercolour style, gain new insights, experiment with creative techniques, and deepen their appreciation for visual expression.
