This private half‑day food tour takes you beyond the tourist perspective, leading you into the city's most iconic food spots, allowing you to explore the city's century‑old heritage through your taste buds. Enjoy convenient hotel pick‑up and drop‑off throughout the tour, with the flexibility to choose a morning or afternoon itinerary, savouring at your own pace. Accompanied by lively commentary from local guides, every meal is filled with stories and warmth. By supporting local cultural heritage and the community, the journey becomes even more meaningful.

The core of the tour is to indulge in Iloilo's signature dishes, with all meals included – from classic street food to traditional desserts, there's something for everything. The first stop is Netong's La Paz Batchoy, hidden in the La Paz Market. As Iloilo's most representative noodle soup, its recipe has been passed down since the 1940s. The rich broth combines pork, liver, offal, and bone marrow, topped with crispy pork cracklings and thin noodles, delivering a savoury explosion. You can refill the soup for free, and enjoy it with the local rice cake puto – a classic combination beloved by locals. Next, we visit Panaderia de Molo, established in 1872, to taste the classic dish Pancit Molo invented by three sisters. This wonton soup features wrappers made with plenty of egg yolks, giving them a springy texture. Legend has it that the dish originated from leftover egg yolks during the construction of Molo Church. Today, it has become an important symbol of Iloilo's food culture.

For dessert time, we visit Agatona 1927 Museum Café. In this well‑preserved century‑old mansion, sip on rich traditional tablea chocolate, paired with homemade heirloom cookies. Outside the window lies the historic Jaro Cathedral, where the beautiful scenery and delicious treats complement each other, allowing you to fully immerse in the elegant atmosphere of a bygone era. Along the way, we also stop by Roberto's, which has been operating since 1978, to taste the classic siopao cherished by generations of Iloilo locals. The "Queen Siopao" is especially popular, featuring a soft and chewy bun filled with bacon, Chinese sausage, adobo pork, and a whole egg – bursting with flavour in every bite, making it a well‑known culinary icon in the city.

At the end of the journey, we have arranged a souvenir shopping session, visiting Molo Mansion, Biscocho Haus, and Balay Tablea. Pick up popular local snacks – crispy biscocho biscuits, artisanal chocolate, and traditional pastries – to bring the unique flavours of Iloilo back home to share. Throughout the tour, you'll be accompanied by a private team, so there's no need to rush. Feel free to stop and chat with the shop owners, listen to the stories behind the food, and experience the warmth and philosophy of life of the Iloilo people at a leisurely pace. Whether you are a food lover, a culture explorer, or a traveller looking to experience local life, this tour will deeply immerse you in Iloilo's food culture, satisfying both your palate and your soul.
