Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest wine region. The first grapevines were planted in the 1820s.
Today, it is home to over 150 wineries producing a wide variety of premium wines that truly reflect their unique terroir.

As one of the founding families of Hunter Valley wine, the story of the Tulloch family began in 1895 when John Younie (J.Y.) Tulloch accepted an unusual debt settlement — a 43‑acre piece of land near Pokolbin. Mr Tulloch immediately fell in love with the land, including five acres of neglected Shiraz vines, and began his first attempts at viticulture and winemaking.
