This Sagay island‑hopping eco‑tour includes round‑trip transfers from hotels in Bacolod City, visiting Carbin Reef and Suyac Island Mangrove Eco‑Park within the Sagay Marine Reserve. It features free carbon offsetting and local community‑guided tours, supporting cultural heritage and the local economy. Suitable for nature lovers, eco‑conscious travellers, and families, this tour allows you to enjoy the beauty of the ocean while protecting the ecosystem.

Departing from your hotel in Bacolod, you will travel by van to Sagay Port, then take a 20‑30 minute pump boat ride to your first stop, Carbin Reef. This white sandbar lies like a silver ribbon floating on the turquoise sea, surrounded by clear waters teeming with coral reefs and giant clams, making it an ideal spot for snorkelling to see tropical fish. You can also relax on the beach, enjoying the undisturbed serenity of the sea. The sandbar looks especially stunning from aerial drone shots.

Next, head to Suyac Island Mangrove Eco‑Park, where a local community guide will lead you along bamboo boardwalks to explore the century‑old mangroves. Listen to the ecological stories of how the mangroves protect the coast from typhoons, and keep an eye out for wildlife such as kingfishers and mudskippers. Lunch features local fishing village cuisine, made with the day's fresh catch and local mangrove specialities, supporting the economy of small‑scale farmers and fishermen. After lunch, you can visit a traditional nipa hut to learn about local architectural culture, or simply relax on the island.

Single‑use plastic items are not provided throughout the entire trip. The tour's carbon emissions are offset through a carbon offset programme, and part of the proceeds is channelled back to the community for mangrove restoration and facility maintenance, making the journey both fun and sustainable. The tour ends around early evening, returning you to your Bacolod hotel by van. The total duration is approximately 8 hours, offering a relaxed yet enriching eco‑exploration experience.
