Shifen Waterfall is an anticlinal cascade waterfall, resembling a piece of white silk satin plunging into a vast, wide deep pool. The mist formed by the cascading water often lingers above the plunge pool, and when illuminated by sunlight, it reveals a rainbow. At Shifen Old Street, visitors can experience releasing sky lanterns and watch the sky filled with blessings while soaking in the charm of the small town. Nanya Strange Rocks, due to the varying hardness and thickness of each rock layer, have formed bizarre and ever‑changing giant rock formations that leave people in awe, truly a world‑class spectacle. Baoshi Mountain is said to have been named after the air‑raid sirens installed during the Japanese colonial era that went off at regular intervals. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a 360‑degree unbeatable panoramic view, including the tunnel from Spirited Away that can never be turned back on, and the magnificent scenery where the ocean and sky intertwine. The Gold Museum tells the story of the mining history and culture of Jinguashi, allowing modern visitors to experience the former glory and prosperity of Jinguashi. A massive gold brick weighing 220 kilograms with 999.9 pure gold was recognised by the Guinness World Records in 2004. Jiufen's bustling old street attracts nostalgic visitors, with the lively atmosphere buzzing everywhere.
