During snowfall, Taiping Mountain implements road control; only 9‑seater vehicles are allowed to pass.

If road control is in place during normal operation, snow chains must be installed at the mountain base, costing approximately NT$3,000‑4,000 per vehicle, to be shared among the day's tour participants (paid on‑site).

If you do not agree to share the cost, you may choose to transfer to another date or receive a full refund.
