Itinerary reference:
At 9:30am, pick up from your hotel in Adelaide city centre and head to Port Willunga Beach, a cave beach and a popular check‑in spot for photography enthusiasts, which still retains the remains of the pier and a row of caves along the coastline.
Afterwards, proceed to the beautiful seaside town of Victor Harbor, where you can choose to walk along the 630‑metre wooden boardwalk to Granite Island and admire the wave‑carved rocks.
Alternatively, you may opt for a ride on the historic horse‑drawn tram (the only horse‑drawn railway tram in Australia) to Granite Island at your own expense.
The horse‑drawn tram, as the name suggests, is a traditional double‑decker carriage pulled by sturdy horses, taking visitors on a leisurely tour around the island.
After a self‑arranged lunch in the town, drive approximately 50 minutes in the afternoon to reach the McLaren Vale surrealist winery ‑ d'Arenberg Cube.
d'Arenberg Cube: Here, you may choose to enter the Cube at your own expense to taste a variety of fine wines and enjoy a bird's‑eye view of the beautiful vineyards (the tour guide does not accompany you inside);
Guests who do not enter can follow the guide to the trendy rabbit‑hole winery Down to the Rabbit Hole Wines, which is run by Elise Cook, an Instagram blogger with exceptional aesthetics. The vintage double‑decker bus and the trendy swing are perfect for photos;
Return to the city hotel around 5pm.

From Victor Harbor, take a walk along the 630‑metre wooden boardwalk or ride Australia's only horse‑drawn railway tram to reach Granite Island. The island is renowned for its unique rock formations, with waves carving the granite over the years to form spectacular wave‑shaped rocks. A circular walking trail around the island takes about 1 hour to complete, offering views of rugged cliffs, peculiar rock layers, and beautiful coastline scenery along the way. The island is also a habitat for little penguins, and at dusk you can watch the heartwarming sight of penguins returning to their nests.

The d'Arenberg Cube winery, located in McLaren Vale, is one of South Australia's most distinctive wine estates. Built at a cost of A$15 million over 14 years, the building resembles a floating cube in the vineyard, with its five‑storey glass structure shimmering with a fantastical glow under the sunlight. Inside, the winery features a tasting room, restaurant, art museum and wine experience centre. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the McLaren Vale vineyards from the top‑floor terrace and sample a range of quality wines. The winery also offers hands‑on wine blending experiences, allowing visitors to create their own personalised wine.
