Buckingham Palace & Changing of the Guard Tour

(3)Children aged 15 and above are charged the same as adults;

(3)Look for a guide holding a City Wonders sign with the tour name;

(1)The date, time, and cancellation of the Changing of the Guard ceremony are at the discretion of the British authorities. If it is cancelled due to bad weather or other circumstances, no advance notice will be given. In the event of cancellation, it will be replaced by a walking tour of Westminster;

(2)Please note that the schedule for the Changing of the Guard may change, and on different days you may see the Foot Guards or the Household Cavalry;

(3)The Changing of the Guard does not take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays, so you will be arranged to join a Westminster walking tour. You may have the opportunity to watch the Changing of the Household Cavalry at Horse Guards Parade, but this is not guaranteed;

(4)Please note that the tour duration may vary depending on the admission time to Buckingham Palace, ranging from approximately 2.5 hours to 4 hours;

(5)A slightly different ceremony, known as the 'Sunday Parade', takes place on Sundays;

(2)Take the underground to Piccadilly Circus station and exit at Exit 3 for Regent Street/St James's. Walk south along Regent Street towards St James's Park (do not walk north towards Oxford Street). Waterloo Place is at the end of Regent Street. You will see a tall column with a statue on top;

(3)You may also arrive via Charing Cross train station. Walk down The Mall towards Buckingham Palace. You will see the statue at the top of some steps on your right;
