Visit the Western Approaches Museum and explore the secret World War II bunker
Uncover the crucial role of Derby House in shaping the victory of the Battle of the Atlantic
Witness authentic artefacts and documents while exploring the eerie underground relics in Liverpool

During World War II, Derby House served as a vital operations centre. Previously, entry required signing the Official Secrets Act; now, you only need a smart mobile ticket.
This intricate underground bunker played a key role in the decisive Battle of the Atlantic and has remained unchanged since 1945. It now houses the Western Approaches Museum, a hidden time capsule beneath the centre of Liverpool.
Visitors can explore authentic documents, tools and maps used for enemy analysis, as well as one of only two surviving telephones that directly connected to Churchill's War Room.
