Want to immerse yourself in the natural soul of Australia? Sydney's premier Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to over 2,000 animals and 260 species, invites you to step into a wondrous world of native wildlife. Open all year round (except Christmas Day) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, every moment holds cuteness and surprises.

As the world's richest gathering place for Australian wildlife species, this park not only features iconic cuties like kangaroos and koalas, but is also home to over 50 endangered or critically endangered species. You can walk into the habitat of the quokka, take photos with the 'happiest animal in the world' as they hop around with their healing smiles; or during the penguin interactive experience, hand‑feed little blue penguins with sardine breakfast treats and feel the playfulness of these tiny seabirds.

The interactive fun doesn't stop there. In the Koala Nursery, you can help the keepers prepare eucalyptus leaves and get up close with the soft and cuddly koalas; during the behind‑the‑scenes reptile tour, you can gently touch lizards or even hold docile snakes to unlock the unique charm of cold‑blooded animals. There are also chubby wombats foraging near their natural underground burrows, and echidnas scurrying through the pristine forests — every encounter is a moment to treasure.

This is more than just a place for fun; it is a front line of conservation. Your visit contributes to the protection of Australia's unique wildlife. As you stroll through the park, you can listen to keepers share insights into animal behaviour and conservation stories, while enjoying the vibrant colours and distinctive calls of native Australian birds — gaining knowledge and emotional connections amidst laughter and joy.

Whether you're on a family outing, a romantic date, or a solo adventure for animal lovers, this place has something for everyone. Come to Featherdale Wildlife Park, feed a kangaroo, hold a koala — let the vitality of these adorable creatures and endangered animals become the warmest memory of your Sydney trip!
