Download the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner app within 11 months of purchase to activate your digital pass.
(1) Enter your surname and the pass number sent by Klook to add the pass;
(2) Create a new trip or select an existing trip in the app, and link the trip to the pass;
(3) Enter your passport/ID number and select the first travel date to activate the pass. Please note that if the pass is not activated, you cannot board the train, and the pass must be activated online;
Please note that you can reserve seats without activating the pass;
Set your phone calendar to "Gregorian calendar" to use the Rail Planner App to activate the pass;
Check out the Eurail Global Pass Guide for activation instructions and details;
The pass can be deactivated before the selected start date (00:00 CET on that day). Use the Rail Planner App, go to 'My Pass', tap the three dots at the top right, then tap 'Deactivate Pass' (the pass can be reactivated later).
Once your Eurail digital pass is activated, simply follow these easy steps to start travelling.
(1) Plan your trip by searching for departure times on the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App;
(2) Tap to save your favourite trips;
(3) When you are ready to depart, add the trip to your pass;
(4) When asked to show your ticket, go to 'My Pass' and tap 'Show ticket' to present your digital pass. Please note that each travel day on your pass has a different ticket, and each ticket will show all trips added to that travel day;
Applies to flexible passes: If your travel date is not a travel day, you must use a travel day. Check 'My Trip' and 'My Pass' for a remaining travel day count and an overview of all travel days;
If you are travelling in a group and have multiple passes on your phone, please note the following:
(1) Each pass needs to have its own separate trip created in the App;
(2) If a trip already exists, you can duplicate the existing trip and link the copy to another pass. Name each trip differently for easy management;
(3) When asked to show tickets, you need to present a ticket for each group member using a pass. In 'My Pass', select the other pass and tap 'Show ticket';
(1) Advance seat reservations are required for domestic high‑speed trains, international trains, scenic trains, and night trains; local and regional trains do not require reservations;
(2) Make seat reservations on the Eurail official website or the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App. You must have a pass and be logged in to view actual seat prices and availability;
(3) Reservations can also be made at local train stations or on the train operator's official website;
(4) Activating your pass is not required to book seats;
