The Bund is located on the banks of the Huangpu River, stretching about 1.5 kilometres. It is an iconic scenic spot of Shanghai, renowned for its diverse collection of Western‑style buildings along the waterfront and the stunning night views of the Huangpu River.

The Bund is lined with dozens of classic revival buildings of various architectural styles. Notable landmarks include the Bank of China Building, the Peace Hotel Shanghai, the Customs House, and the HSBC Building (ifc mall), which together recreate the splendour of the former "Wall Street of the Far East".

Remarkably, these buildings were not designed by a single architect nor constructed during the same period, yet they possess a unique harmonious beauty.

The Bund features a variety of architectural styles, including French classicism, French mansion style, and Gothic style. These buildings represent significant historical sites and exemplary architecture of modern China, forming a picturesque skyline along the Huangpu River.

As night falls, the neon lights on both sides of the river intertwine and illuminate the sky. Take a sightseeing cruise or ferry along the Huangpu River, feeling the gentle river breeze. On one side lies the Bund, a witness to historical development; on the other stands Lujiazui, a landmark of Shanghai's modern construction.
