Introduction to KERCHOR Elephant Eco Park in Chiang Mai

Kerchor Elephant Eco Park is located in the valley of the northern Thai forest, established and cared for by the local Karen tribe. It maintains a pristine environment with lush greenery, birdsong, and floral fragrance, where elephant families and the Karen ethnic minority live freely and harmoniously together. The Karen people hope to showcase the real life of elephants to everyone and share their generations‑long stories of living with elephants with visiting guests. You will learn how to properly take care of these huge yet incredibly adorable national treasures of Thailand.

Guests can collect and prepare food for the elephants, get up close with them, feed them, give them a nice bath, play with them, interact intimately, and become good human friends with the elephants. There are no shows, no rides, no chains or sticks here—only mutual respect and love between humans and elephants, along with a joyful time.

Meet the elephants, feed them, and interact and play with them

Make herbal balls for the elephants, mud spa, give the elephants a bath

Rest at the park and enjoy lunch

12:30‑13:00 ‑ Return to Chiang Mai, drop guests back at hotel

Half‑Day Elephant Conservation Experience (Afternoon) / Itinerary Time 13:30‑18:30

 Full‑Day Elephant Conservation Experience + Bamboo Rafting / Itinerary Time 08:30‑17:30

Enjoy Thai lunch, coffee, tea, and relax at Kerchor Elephant Eco Park while admiring the beautiful scenery.

Experience bamboo rafting (approx. 40 minutes), visit the waterfall (bring change of clothes and swimsuit if you plan to go into the water)

17:00‑17:30 ‑ Return to Chiang Mai and drop guests back at hotel
