Ilsan Hanhwa Aqua Planet Aquarium is Korea's first comprehensive aquarium! The Gyeonggi‑do aquarium houses over 325 species of marine and terrestrial creatures imported from around the world! It is the largest aquarium in the Seoul metropolitan area! Experience Korea's first gamified eco‑experience that lets you enjoy both an underwater city journey and jungle expedition at the same time. Ilsan Aqua Planet is also a filming location for the Korean drama "Queen of Tears" ‑ let's take a look!

The aquarium consists of three zones, so don't miss any of them ‑ make sure you see them all.

‑The Aqua Marine Zone

Cute underwater creatures right before your eyes! Interact with sharks, seals, walruses, penguins and more.

‑The Jungle Zone

Sloths, monkeys, talking parrots and other key characters from "Zootopia" invite you into a real jungle world!

‑The Sky Farm

All the cute animals are gathered here!

Meet various animal friends like sheep, goats, ponies and donkeys. Tip: After 5pm, the animals also knock off work. Don't miss the end‑of‑day parade either! *Depending on circumstances, the animals and the end‑of‑day parade may be subject to change.

‑Glass Bottom Boat

Experience the underwater world up close on the main tank. Enjoy the thrill of seeing and feeding the creatures with your own eyes!

(This is a paid experience, and applications may close early) *KRW 10,000 per person, up to 10 people can apply on a first‑come, first‑served basis at the ticket office on the 3rd floor of the main tank.

(Children 80‑100cm may ride when accompanied by a guardian. Children under 80cm cannot ride.)

Life‑worthy photos are a must! There are plenty of photo spots everywhere. Don't miss them ‑ take lots of pictures, and while you're at it, try the glass bottom boat experience where you can see the aquarium's main tank with your own eyes.
