The Grand Palace in Bangkok is one of Thailand's most famous landmarks, located in the city centre. Built in 1782, it served as the royal residence for generations of Thai kings and is the venue for important royal ceremonies and festivities. The Grand Palace blends traditional Thai architecture with Western styles, featuring opulent interior and exterior decorations, making it a treasure of Thai culture and art. One of the most notable buildings within the Grand Palace is Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the most sacred Emerald Buddha statue in Thailand. The entire palace complex includes numerous temples, halls, and courtyards, showcasing the profound depth of Thai history, religion, and culture.

Tha Maharaj is a lifestyle market with an artistic vibe along the riverbank in Bangkok, close to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, and is a popular gathering spot for both locals and tourists. The market not only features a variety of specialty restaurants, cafes, and handicraft shops but also regularly hosts creative markets and cultural events, showcasing Bangkok's unique artistic flair.

At Tha Maharaj, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Chao Phraya River while exploring unique boutiques, relaxing over an afternoon tea, or tasting authentic Thai cuisine. The market's relaxed and comfortable atmosphere makes it particularly suitable for hipsters and travellers who enjoy exploring local culture. Whether for shopping, photography, or simply unwinding, it’s an excellent place to experience the city life and riverside charm of Bangkok.

Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is one of Bangkok's most famous Buddhist temples, located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. The temple is widely beloved by tourists for its unique architectural style and beautiful riverside scenery. The iconic structure of Wat Arun is its towering central prang (spire), standing about 70 metres high, decorated with countless colourful porcelain pieces and shells that shimmer in the sunlight, offering especially spectacular views at sunrise and sunset.

The Giant Buddha at Wat Paknam (also known as the Water Gate Temple Giant Buddha) is located at a famous Buddhist temple beside a tributary of the Chao Phraya River in western Bangkok, renowned for its colossal white Buddha statue standing 69 metres tall. This statue is one of the largest Buddha images in Bangkok and Thailand, named "Phra Buddha Dhammakaya Thepmongkhon," standing majestically as a symbol of Buddhist light and compassion.
