Guangdong First Peak Tourist Scenic Area Nanling Five Scenic Spots Ticket

Guangdong's First Peak is the highest peak in Guangdong, with the main peak Shikengkong at an altitude of 1,902 metres. The area is covered with dense primeval forests, and together with high mountain valleys and mountain springs and waterfalls, it paints a stunning landscape painting. The brilliant starry sky, sunrise and sunset here attract countless visitors.

The entire scenic area is mainly divided into the Shikengkong Sightseeing Area, Taipingdong Yao Village, Chengjia Grand Canyon, Tianquan Waterfall, Tianquan Highland Hot Springs, and First Peak Rafting. Besides enjoying the natural scenery, visitors can also soak in hot springs, go rafting, and at night sit around a bonfire to watch Yao ethnic dance performances or join in the singing and dancing.

The way up is mainly a winding mountain road, which is not very suitable for visitors who want to hike. It is recommended to drive there. It takes about 2 hours to reach the top by car. Currently, there are military troops stationed for drills at the summit, so visitors can only go to about 2 kilometres from the peak. It is advisable to set off in the afternoon, stay overnight at the camping base on the mountain, enjoy the sunset and starry sky in the evening, and get up early the next morning to watch the sunrise.
