▼Manzamō (Manza Cape)
This is a national natural park located in Onna Village on the west coast of Okinawa’s main island. The name "Manzamō" means "a grassland that can seat 10,000 people," where "mō" means grassland in the Okinawan dialect. As the name suggests, the natural grassland here stretches endlessly, and the surrounding plant communities have been designated as a natural monument by Okinawa Prefecture. Additionally, the site features cliff faces formed by uplifted coral reefs that resemble an elephant’s head, along with huge waves crashing against the rocks along the shore—truly offering a panoramic view of nature’s grandeur!

▼Kouri Island
Kouri Island is a circular island about 8 km in diameter floating north of Yagaji Island. Sea urchins and sea grapes are famous local specialties, and the fishing industry thrives here. The island is home to an Okinawan version of the Adam and Eve creation myth, and ancient rituals such as the Sea God Festival held after the Bon Festival in the old lunar July have been preserved. By passing through Ōjima in Nago City and Yagaji Island, a bridge connects the main island here. Among them, the Kouri Ohashi Bridge, measuring 1,960 metres in total length, is a well‑known romantic spot in Okinawa.

▼Ocean Expo Park, Churaumi Aquarium
Spanning a vast 700,000 square metres, this subtropical park built around an ocean resort theme allows visitors to experience the subtropical nature and culture of the Ryukyu era. Within the park, designed around a sunflower sea theme, there are multiple facilities, including the Churaumi Aquarium (opened on 1 November 2002), dolphin shows, a beautiful white sand beach, and the Sunset Plaza offering stunning dusk views—letting you fully enjoy the charm of the southern ocean.

▼American Village, Chatan Town
American Village features a wide range of large‑scale facilities, including unique shops, a Ferris wheel, cinemas, karaoke venues, large game centres, and bowling alleys, offering an overwhelming variety of goods and activities. Riding the Ferris wheel, you can take in the vast blue of the East China Sea on one side while enjoying the distinctive American‑style atmosphere inside the nearby U.S. military base on the other. Street performers also occasionally showcase their talents in the square.
