Penang

Penang (English: Penang; Malay: Pulau Pinang), formerly known as Penang Island, abbreviated as Penang State, is one of the thirteen federal states of Malaysia, located on the northwestern side of the Malay Peninsula. Bounded by the Penang Strait, Penang is divided into two parts: Penang Island and Seberang Perai. The street art and historical buildings in George Town, the natural scenery and cable car experience at Penang Hill, the magnificent architecture of Kek Lok Si Temple, and the unique water village of Clan Jetties.
