City introduction

Davos

Davos is a top alpine resort in the canton of Graubünden and the highest city in Europe (1,560 metres). Known globally for the World Economic Forum, it is also a skiing paradise with 320 kilometres of slopes and 58 cable cars. In summer, hiking, boating on Lake Davos, the Sertig Valley waterfalls, and a stroll on the Schatzalp are all scenic highlights. The Kirchner Museum houses works by the German Expressionist master. The cuisine features Alpine flavours: cheese fondue, rösti, mulled wine, best enjoyed at a mountain restaurant for an even more immersive experience.
