Sharm El Sheikh

Sharm el-Sheikh is located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, along the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. It is a world-class diving and resort destination, known as the 'Pearl of the Red Sea'. Key attractions include Ras Mohammed National Park (vibrant underwater coral reefs, a paradise for snorkelling and scuba diving), Naama Bay (fine sandy beaches, clear shallow waters, ideal for leisure swimming), Al Mustafa Mosque (exquisite Islamic architecture), and the Old Market (a hub for handicrafts and local specialities). The cuisine is dominated by Red Sea seafood, with must-try dishes including grilled sea bass, curried fish, and grilled squid; traditional Egyptian flavours recommend hummus, kebab, kushari, and for dessert, try Umm Ali, rich and creamy.
