Pilar

Pilar is an elegant town in the northern part of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, about 50 km from the capital. It is known as the polo capital of South America and a high-end resort destination. The Pilar Nature Reserve serves as the city's green lung, featuring diverse native flora and fauna as well as hiking trails. The Pilar Cathedral (Nuestra Señora del Pilar) is a 19th-century landmark with elegant architecture. The Pando-Carabassa Cottage is a century-old villa housing the Argentine Polo Association, surrounded by top-tier polo fields.
