Suwon
Suwon is an important tourist destination in South Korea, located in Gyeonggi Province. Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon is a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering a variety of day trip options. Major professional sports teams in Suwon include Suwon FC of the K League, Suwon Samsung Bluewings of the K League Classic, and KT Wiz of the KBO League. Built between 1794 and 1796, Hwaseong Fortress is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Suwon World Cup Stadium was one of the venues for the 2002 World Cup and is the home stadium of Suwon Samsung Bluewings of the K League Classic.
