Kitakyushu

Kitakyushu City is located at the northernmost tip of Kyushu, serving as an industrial and cultural hub of the region, where nature and urban landscapes blend seamlessly. The iconic Kokura Castle keep is elegant, surrounded by cherry blossoms in spring. The nostalgic Mojiko Retro District preserves 19th-century Western architecture, exuding a strong retro atmosphere. The wisteria tunnel (April–May) and autumn leaves (November) at Kawachi Fuji Garden are renowned worldwide. Mount Sarakura is one of the world's top three new night views, offering a panoramic view of the city and the Kanmon Strait. In terms of cuisine, baked curry originated here, with curry rice topped with cheese and baked, emitting a fragrant aroma; Kokura sushi uses fresh ingredients; mentaiko dishes, Kyushu ramen, and fried dumplings are authentically flavoured, making one's mouth water for Kitakyushu Palette.
