Northern Territory
The Northern Territory is located in the north-central part of Australia, divided into the tropical Top End and the Red Centre. The capital city, Darwin, serves as the gateway to Kakadu National Park, renowned for its pristine rainforest and ancient rock art dating back thousands of years. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is the world's largest monolith, changing colours at sunrise and sunset; the rock formations of Kata Tjuta are equally spectacular. Visitors can experience camel riding and Indigenous culture. Local cuisine includes crocodile skewers, kangaroo meat, emu meat, and the distinctive laksa noodles.
